Women of Nativity

Our Lady travels to your home bringing many blessings.

The Women of Nativity is an organization formed to provide new opportunities for women to experience and deepen their faith through fellowship and service to God’s people, especially women and children.

The Women of Nativity held a number of organizational meetings over the summer and elected the following officers:

President:  Dolores Amerman          Vice President:  Barbara Boron

Treasurer:  Sandy Panuccio          Secretary:  Barbara McGorry

Mary Ellen Christ and Barbara Teufel ~ Members at Large

Various projects were discussed, and some being considered for next year are an Evening of Reflection in conjunction with our outreach partner, Our Lady of Confidence School at St. David’s in Willow Grove, the Traveling Pilgrim Statue of Mary to visit as many homes in the parish as possible, and undertaking a parish-wide project of “Lighting the Way for the Coming of Jesus” on Christmas Eve (2012) through the selling and positioning of luminaries in front of every home within the boundaries of Nativity of Our Lord Parish.

Any woman who would be interested in joining us in these endeavors would be most welcome to come to the next organizational meeting Tuesday evening, January 17, 2012 in the Parish Conference Center.  If you plan to attend, please call the Parish Office Center (215-675-1925).
