CATHOLIC BOOK & MEDIA EXHIBIT

There will be a Pauline Book Exhibit at Nativity of Our Lord Parish the weekend of October 22nd & 23rd.  The Daughters of Saint Paul will be present with a display of books, music, DVDs, First Communion and Confirmation articles, and other materials for sale.  All are welcome to stop in at the School Library (located on the first floor of the school) after the Masses (5 P.M., 8 A.M., 10 A.M. & Noon) to see the selection of religious media, appropriate for all ages, which can accompany and enrich your spiritual journey.

• This event will support the fund for Capital Improvements as well as other parish endeavors such as the School Operating Budget, PREP Budget, and Parish Organizations.  You pick your choice of beneficiary while you have a great meal, great dancing and great conversation.

Casey and her dad beam after finishing the 45 mile City to Shore Ride for MS

Casey Stollsteimer, a 7th grader at Nativity of Our Lord School completed the 45 mile City to Shore Ride for MS with her dad, Dave Stollsteimer.  They were among 7000 riders in the event this year and Casey was among a very small group of kids under 16 who participated with only a few actually making it to the finish line.  Her parents would never have expected such an accomplishment for their daughter had they been asked the day she was born.  Casey was born with a rare heart defect and underwent open heart surgery at the precious age of 26 hours! 

We at Nativity are so proud of her, and her dad!  Way to go, Casey!
